Veronica (Geena Davis) visits Seth Brundle’s (Jeff Goldblum) loft-laboratory, and he presents his fly-like transformation to her, as they bond through the abject and despair of his physical and psychological disintegration.
The Dream, The Fly
The scene follows Ronnie (Geena Davis) as she undergoes an abortion, accompanied by Stathis (John Getz). Her uncertainty sets the tone within the setting of the hospital, as she is treated by a number of hospital workers; notably, the gynecologist. The scene ends as a large, writhing maggot is pulled from her womb, before Ronnie wakes up from her dream.
Brundle Finds Out, The Fly
Brundle (Jeff Goldblum) sits alone at the teleporter computer and types several commands to figure out what is happening to him.
Seth's Plasma Pool Monologue, The Fly
Veronica (Geena Davis) inquires about the strange hair on Seth's (Jeff Goldblum) back. Seth gets the idea to send Veronica through the teleporter. Veronica’s aversion to the idea insults Seth, prompting a manic tirade.
It's Cleaner on the Inside, The Fly
Seth Brundle (Jeff Goldblum) and Veronica Quaife (Geena Davis) drive to his apartment from the press event, so he can show her what he’s been working on.
